Billing and Health Insurance

As a convenience to you, we will file your claims directly with your insurance company and will assist you in obtaining the maximum payment for a given procedure. The Rehabilitation Institute is a Medicare approved facility and accepts assignment on all Medicare claims. Any balance not paid by Medicare is forwarded to your secondary insurance company, where most times, the balance is paid in full.

We also participate in many managed care plans accepting payment in full for covered services of those plans which do not have co-insurance or deductible requirements.

You are responsible for any known co-payment or deductible as well as any non-covered services. If necessary, you will be notified of any payment you need to bring with you to your appointment. Ultimately, it is the patient’s responsibility for any unpaid balance. Your understanding and support is greatly appreciated.
